What does Freelo cost compared to CTM?

Freelo charges per user. The Lite plan is EUR 6.45 per user per month on annual billing and is capped at nine people; Business is EUR 10.90 per user with no headcount cap; Premium is EUR 19.90. Those prices include VAT. The free plan covers three users and three projects. CTM charges per organization excluding VAT: Free EUR 0, Starter EUR 25 up to ten people, Pro EUR 59 up to fifty.

Where are Freelo and CTM similar?

Both are project tools with kanban, lists and a Gantt chart, both have Czech and Slovak support, and both have a free tier for small teams. Freelo adds free guests and larger storage on higher plans. If you want a pure project tool they are functionally close, and the difference is mostly the price per team.

What does CTM do that Freelo does not?

Three things Freelo does not cover: meetings with minutes including agenda, attendance and the actions that come out of them; leave requests with an approval flow, public holidays and a view of who is available when; and video calls in the browser without a separate Zoom or Teams account. Freelo is a project tool and does not cover HR or meetings.

When does it make sense to stay with Freelo?

If you only care about projects and tasks, your team is small and Freelo suits you, there is no reason to switch. Switching pays off when the team grows and per-head pricing starts to hurt, or when you notice that meetings and leave are being run outside the system — in e-mails, spreadsheets and on paper.

Why choose CTM?

Freelo is a pleasant and widely used Czech project tool with excellent local support. If you only need projects and tasks, it holds up. CTM additionally covers meetings with minutes, leave approvals and video calls — and above all bills per organization. Freelo Business is EUR 10.90 per user per month on annual billing, so a team of ten pays EUR 109. CTM Starter is EUR 25 for the whole company.
