Capacity planning and public holidays
CTM knows who is away and when. It warns you as you assign a task, shows how loaded the department is when leave is requested, and counts working days against Slovak, Czech and German public holidays.
A warning as you assign the task
Assign a dated task to someone on vacation, sick leave or family care and CTM says so while you are still filling the form. A request that is not approved yet shows as a softer warning.

A leave request shows how many people from the department are away in that period and what share of the team that is. You set the threshold yourself — above it the number is highlighted.
Public holidays for SK / CZ / DE
Holidays for the company's country are marked in the calendar and excluded from working days, so leave that spans a holiday does not consume more days than it should.

Managers and administrators see the whole team's yearly leave usage — in calendar days and in working days, including the people who have taken nothing yet.
How does CTM warn me that someone is away when I assign them a task?
As soon as a task has a due date and an assignee, CTM checks that person's approved absences for the period and shows a warning in the form itself — before the task is saved. A leave request that is still waiting for approval appears as a softer note, because it may yet be rejected. The same check runs when a meeting is scheduled, so you find out about a conflict while you can still move the date.
Does CTM count working days with public holidays?
Yes. Public holidays for Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Germany are stored in the system and applied according to the company's country. Holidays are marked in the calendar and excluded from working days, so leave that spans a public holiday does not consume more days than it should. Leave statistics can be read in calendar days or in working days, whichever your policy uses.
How do I see whether too many people are away at once?
A leave request shows how many people from the same department are away in that period and what share of the department that is — for example three out of ten, or thirty percent. You set the threshold yourself; above it, the figure is highlighted so an approver notices before clicking approve. Administrators and managers also get a yearly overview of the whole team's leave usage, including people who have taken none.
Does home office block work in CTM?
No, and that is deliberate. Somebody on home office is working, just not in the office, so CTM does not treat it as a conflict when a task is assigned — it is information, not an obstacle. Vacation, sick leave, family care, and short leave do block work and trigger a warning. Capacity planning is part of the vacation module, available from the Starter plan at 19 EUR per month for the whole organization.
