How does the vacation approval workflow work in CTM?
In CTM, an employee submits a leave request with a start date, end date, and reason. The request is routed to their manager for approval, or to an administrator when no manager is assigned. Approvers receive a notification and can approve or reject the request, and everyone sees an overview of approved time off in a calendar view. This keeps absence planning transparent for the whole team.
What types of leave can employees request?
CTM supports several leave types: vacation, home office, sick leave (PN), family care (OČR), and short leave. Sick leave and family care are auto-approved and recorded as notifications, since they are not subject to manager discretion, while vacation and home office go through the approval workflow. The leave type is shown in notifications so managers immediately understand each request.
Who approves vacation requests?
Requests are approved by the employee's assigned manager. If an employee has no manager set, the request is routed to organization administrators instead, so no request is left unhandled. Managers can see requests from their own team members, while administrators have visibility across the organization.
Which plan includes vacation management?
Vacation and leave management is available from the Starter plan at 19 EUR per month for the whole organization, supporting up to 10 users. The Pro plan at 45 EUR per month includes it alongside unlimited projects, up to 50 users, and Google Calendar sync.
