What's New in CTM — August 2026

An overview of what has been added to Company Task Management over the past weeks.

Meeting rooms and bookings

A company defines its meeting rooms in the settings — name, capacity, floor, equipment — and the team books them on a daily timeline where each column is one room. Click an empty slot to create a booking.

The important part is the link to meetings: choose a room while scheduling a meeting and CTM blocks it for the meeting's duration automatically. There is nothing extra to remember, and a meeting can no longer exist in the calendar while someone else has taken the room.

• Reschedule the meeting — the booking moves with it
• Cancel the meeting — the room is released
• Accept a proposed alternative date — the room is re-checked for the new time
• Collision — CTM refuses the second booking before saving it

If more people are invited than the room holds, you get a warning. An administrator enables the module in the Meeting rooms section; it is available from the Starter plan with no per-room fee.

Project templates

A new project no longer has to start from nothing. Pick a template when creating it and CTM pre-fills task groups, labels, and sample tasks with checklists — in your language:

• Marketing campaign — content, design, publishing
• Development / Sprint — backend, frontend, QA, bug and feature labels
• Employee onboarding — the full first-day checklist
• Company operations — invoicing and reports that create themselves through recurring tasks

An empty project stays the first option, so nothing is forced on you. Which templates are offered can be configured centrally.

Four task views instead of one

Every project can be shown as a Kanban board, a list, a table, or a timeline — the Gantt view with bars from start date to due date, where dates are changed by dragging. The switcher sits in the project header and remembers your choice per project.

Other changes

• Calendar invitations in email — meeting invites and task assignments arrive as invitations Outlook and Google Calendar recognize directly; rescheduling overwrites the original event and cancelling removes it
• Slack and Outlook — Slack notifications and Outlook Calendar sync on the Pro plan
• Data export and backups — an administrator can download the organization's complete data as JSON and as CSV for Excel
• Meeting visibility by role — employees see only the meetings that concern them by default; configurable for the whole company
